Sockeye Solutions Names Alan Deeter Vice President of Sales

Deeter Brings Depth of Experience in Enterprise Software, Business Intelligence Applications, Systems Integration, and Automated Manufacturing

Cupertino, CA (February 28, 2007) – Sockeye Solutions Corporation today announced that Alan Deeter has joined the company as vice president of sales. Deeter will draw upon his extensive industry experience to augment the company’s already successful sales outlook and further expand Sockeye’s ambitious business development goals. As Vice President of Sales, Deeter will be responsible for the development and implementation of all corporate sales programs.

Deeter comes to Sockeye from Syntricity Inc., where he was vice president of sales and marketing. During his tenure at Syntricity, Alan oversaw a 15 person team and increased overall sales 22% year over year. At Brooks Software, as the Vice President and General Manager, Deeter oversaw an 80 person team, where he clarified the vision and strategy for the division, and was responsible for increasing product quality and overall customer satisfaction. Deeter’s corporate background includes engineering and sales management experience spanning more than 20 years at other companies such as FASTech Integration Inc., Automation Tooling Systems Inc., and the Robotics Division of Seiko Instruments.

Deeter graduated from California State University Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1984. In 2001, he received a Masters of Business Administration degree with emphasis in Finance and Marketing from Santa Clara University.
